Painting a Vision -- OK, while I'm on a roll here today, talking about pulling teams together and about the need for the big picture that surrounds that team's work, here's a few pointers to pieces on why that vision is important (from CIO Magazine), and how to pull it together in a way that is easily developed, communicated, and opened to scrutiny and improvement. Such a vision is a living thing, both the precursor and the result of strategic and tactical initiatives and the reality that they bring about along the way.
