PSNext from SciForma - Web Based PM Software -- Sciforma has announced PSNext, its new offering for "web-based collaborative project management designed for the global enterprise". I don't see, in their initial info, whether it supports Critical Chain based PM, or constraining-resource based synchronization of multiple projects, as does their desktop and network based PS8 product. But I've got the question in to them. Watch this space for the answer.
[50 minutes later...I got an answer from Mark Stout of SciForma...
Critical Chain won't be in the first release of PSNext. It doesn't mean we've abandoned CCPM by any means. And of course, PS8 continues as a product.
Congratulations! You were the first to notice the new website. It just went live.
Actually I wasn't. I saw a link to the announcement first on Rainer Volz's Virtual Projects weblog.]
(By the way -- also in the CCPM software news -- Spherical Angle is about to start the beta process for their cc-Pulse single project software. Hopefully, their multi-project product will follow shortly.)
