From Wired - Evolution Wins as Creationists (Accidentally) Switch Sides in Florida. Apparently those who thought that a "scientific theory" means something less than it does have now got a curriculum that must teach the "scientific theory of evolution." That's the result of believing in your own erroneous rhetoric.

From Science Friday Archives: Education and Evolution in Texas, a story about a science educator in Texas being forced to step down for "informing colleagues of a talk on the conflict over the teaching of evolution." I thought the creationist crazies wanted to "teach the conflict" to get their message into the minds of kids, but I guess not to get the message into the minds of teachers when the speaker is the author of "Creationism's Trojan Horse: The Wedge of Intelligent Design."
